Review of Happenings By Carol Kluz |
||||||
Happenings is a virtual smorgasbord of tantalizing, frightful, and clever tales written with a technical flare. Mr. William Alan Reiser continues to stimulate the intellectual reader's appetite with this compilation of short stories. The unexpected ending of "Crawlspace" is typical of Reiser's enterprising imagination. As his writing has proven in his novels, he likes to play the emotions of the reader, yet when something appears so bleak there is no out, he springs the unexpected. Happenings would be a welcome gift for anyone who enjoys science fiction, or the supernatural. It is a book to curl up with throughout the cold winter evenings. |
